HomeChoice Holdings Limited, incorporated in South Africa, is an investment holding company with trading activities conducted through its main operating subsidiaries, HomeChoice and FinChoice.
HomeChoice is South Africa’s leading direct marketer and catalogue retailer of an exclusive range of household goods which it sells to the urban market offering its products on cash or a variety of credit terms. As one of the few companies that provided access to credit to the mass market 27 years ago, HomeChoice quickly established a solid base of mass market customers loyal to the brand. HomeChoice has grown into South Africa’s leading direct marketer using a variety of marketing channels, including traditional direct mail, direct sales agents and significantly, telemarketing, internet, e-mail and cellphone channels. Quality, an exclusive range of homewares, flexible payment terms, an easy shopping experience, home delivery and free home approval has proven to be a winning recipe that sets it apart from any other retailer.
FinChoice is the financial services company of the group, marketing personal loans to HomeChoice customers of good credit standing. Loans products range from 6 to 24 months, with the ability for customers to access additional credit on a recurring basis. Using integrated direct marketing methods across multiple channels (print, telephone, mobile, internet), the product offering is customised to individual customers and their individual circumstances. Centralised operations in Cape Town utilise direct marketing, a call centre, mobile and internet to originate and manage the portfolio.
With over 740 employees, our retail footprint extends across South Africa as well as Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland.
